The Selkirk Rex Cat is one of four curly-coated cat breeds. It is the largest of the four cats and its fur is the shaggiest.

Other cats with curly coats include the pixie-like Devon Rex, La Perm cats and the Cornish Rex.

These domestic cats come in shorthaired and longhaired varieties and in a wide range of coat patterns and colors.
